SPECIALITY TEAS NOW AVAILABLE AT CASA MIA
Leeds-based Italian restaurant chain Casa Mia is giving parched tea lovers the chance to quench their thirst and give their health a boost by offering customers a new range of speciality teas.
Made by London-based tea specialist Teapigs, flavours in the range include Yerba Mate - which helps to increase focus and alertness whilst helping with detoxing and slimming - and Mao Feng Green tea that helps to increase the metabolism and delay the ageing process. Other varieties available include Tung Ting Blue Tea, Silver Tip White Tea, Chamomile Flowers, Super Fruit and Green Tea with Mint.
Speaking about the new range, Casa Mia’s owner Francesco Mazzella, said: “Our customers love the fresh twists that we give the food and drink at Casa Mia, so when we found out about these delicious teas we had to try them out. They are already proving very popular as they taste wonderful and provide a range of different benefits depending upon the flavour you have.
“There’s a flavour to suit everyone from the Chilli tea - which contains orange spices and leaves a chilli tingle on your tongue - to Chocolate Flake which is the perfect option for those who love dunking their biscuits in their tea. I’d urge anyone to give one of the teas a try, not just because they are good for you but because they taste great too.”
As well as producing unusual flavours, Teapigs only sells whole leaf tea contained in a specially designed silky mesh purse which allows tea all the room it needs to infuse properly. The company also has an ethical scheme which enables them to make a difference to the tea growing regions they buy from.
Available to buy in Casa Mia restaurants, Buratynskis Deli and online at www.casamiaonline.com, the teabags come in packs of 15 and cost between £3.50 and £4.50.
